The Couture Club is a story about the world’s wealthiest Dolce and Gabbana clients.

In the summer of 2015, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana decided to invite their best clients to Portofino, by the Italian riviera and open their private villas and other beautiful locations to share 4 days of their time in a glade overlooking Portofino’s bay.

Nearly a year of preparation had gone into readying the sites for this luxury event inspired by Homer, Dante, and “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”. The first day was dedicated to the Alta Gioielleria jewellery collection that consists of lavishly colored, richly decorated, overstated finery. The main show was dedicated to women where Alta Moda dresses are one-of-a-kind. It is a sort of a competition  where some clients start texting their orders even before the show is over. The gold-themed party was the last night event held at Covo discotheque which in the sixties and seventies Gianni Agnelli used to drop by, as did Brigitte Bardot and Aristotle Onassis.
